Ignacio Viano

 

Bio

Ignacio Viano was born in Buenos Aires in 1985. Musician, teacher, guitarist, composer and sound engineer. Completed a diploma in music and technology at the National University of Quilmes. Studied harmony, counterpoint and analysis with Gustavo Mirabile. Studied guitar at the Chivilcoy Conservatory of Music. Received a study and a production grant from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes (Argentina). His work Estudio Electrónico 1 won the first prize in the Juan Carlos Paz composition contest 2020 of the same institution. Participated in the "Stockhausen Courses Kürten" in Germany (2011). 
As a guitarist he played in many folklore and rock music projects and released with Rocío Palazzo the album "Viento" (2019) entirely dedicated to Atahualpa Yupanqui.
Composed and produced original music for audiovisual pieces and plays.
Sound technician in audiovisual projects (direct sound and post-production in fiction, advertising, TV, internet content, etc.) and studio and live recording bands and different musical projects.
Professor of Electroacoustic Media at the Chivilcoy Conservatory of Music. Founding partner of VZtec, a company dedicated to the design and manufacture of electronic equipement for musicians.
